This happens with me, the solution with me is dont close the app from the screen for some reason it does not exit properly you have to start it again. force close the app from the settings on your device and that solved it for me it loads perfectly all the time.

On the main screen go to weather settings, click on location,delete whats in there and just type your location remember to click on ok to save hope this helps you

i had the same problem but found a solution. once you have added the location in settings press the left button for the side menu and at the top you have to add location there as well
