Crashes after 5 minutes

Updated today on my firestick. I use a shield in my house, but my garage gets a firestick… Anyways, noticed an update and did it on the shield.

Works flawlessly. On the FS it force closes every time I go to live TV. I use the DOM PVR set up. Not sure if something is wrong, but was curious if anyone had anything to try. Typically only watch mad titan for NHL in the garage, but kids wanted to watch tv…

Guessing I should have just left it alone lol as it was working fine, but now I can’t get anything to work without a crash. I have completely redone with no luck.

It is a 3rd gen stick using Kodi 21.3. I made sure advanced setting are set for that. Figured what the hell and swapped to test build, but still happening there as well

1st gen FS is having the same issue in my bedroom. Going to leave the other FS alone on the patio as I still get mad Titan and sports HD.

Not sure why the other 2 are crashing out.

Well, its a Firestick, probably too weak to run the PVR, I dunno. I dont use or have any Firesticks.

I figured that, but now the sports HD or Mad Titan crash it since doing the update. Not sure why since they both used to work when I had sports on in the garage and bedroom.

Wasnt sure if there was something different on the updated version. I don’t even try to do PVR and it’s crashing. My FS’s have always been slow for obvious reasons, but didn’t crash.

Do you have any suggestions for budget streaming device that is better than a FS? Don’t really have the $$$ for a nividia in 3 other spots lol.

Ive heard good things about the latest Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen, 2023), but any of the other Firesticks are just not good enough to run Kodi. The Walmart ONN 4k Plus is supposed to be pretty good also.
