Screen going blank, at random times during play

Someone started a thread on FB about a week ago. A few people said they were having this problem also. I am still having this issue.
To be clear the problem is, after I select a link and start the show, at random times the screen will go completly blank, for 2-3 seconds, and then resume play.
I have this issue on an older Android box running Android 9. It is on wi-fi and no issues with that. I also have a Shield Pro hooked direct thru ethernet
and having no issues with it. Is anyone still having this issue? I am going to replace my box soon, hoping it will fix my problem.

Try a different HDMI cable and or different HDMI port on your TV.

Replaced my old box with a new '24 version ONN box. Everything is working normal now!
