I found an article online that said if you can't find a movie by title, you can try it using the specific ID for that particular movie. For example, the ID for the movie, "Inception" is tt1375666.
I know I can find "Incpetion" just by entering the title. But I wanted to test the ID search idea by using a movie I knew could be found by title. The search by ID didn't work. I may be misunderstanding the instructions. This is what I did:
Go to movie, search, search movies, typed in "tt1375666" (without quotes) and pressed "done". It did not find it. Am I doing something wrong here?

Re: Search for movie with its ID
Well thats an IMDB number, most addons use TMDB for searches. But why would you ever need to do this? If you spell it right and it is listed on TMDB then a search would find it.sputterbug10 wrote: ↑Sat May 17, 2025 1:03 pm I found an article online that said if you can't find a movie by title, you can try it using the specific ID for that particular movie.
