Playback freezes after 10secs

I have done a reset on the shield and im installing kodi and the your nexus build and see if that solves the issue......

I have kodi installed with the Nexus build and seema to be ok..
So i added two apps that i have used for years back onto the shield..
Now im back to links on nexus freezing again..

The question is..
Can other installed apps cause kodi issues......!

What are the other 2 apps? Are they trying to display an AD thats freezing Kodi? I dunno. Uninstall those 2 apps and see if the freezing goes away..

The other two apps are weyd and wicked(iptv).

I went into kodi settings to Disable hardware acceleration after doing some goggle searching...
The addons are coalition, umbrella, fen, asgard.

I have removed the weyd and wicked apps and the playback is still doing the same......

Only apps i have installed now is, kodi, nordvpn, downloader, vlc.
The rest are preinstalled and i have disabled them due to me not using them....

A.thought just came to me...
I may have clicked Arm8 64bit instead of arm 7 32bit.
Would have have an effect on the above issues..

Shield is 64. Either way, Kodi cant make your whole Shield freeze. Is your flash drive removed yet?

Yes i factory reset the shield and reinstalled with out the thumb drive fitted.......

Nvidia has a nice tradition replacing faulty shields, maybe you should replace yours.

So there is a possibility that the shield is faulity.....

Rights guys i think that i now may know what the issue is...

It seems that our area as had an internet issue and vastly reduced speeds even more so when i use my vpn...
