Diggz Team

Hoping to get an idea of what to do here, a couple weeks ago I made a mistake and reinstalled my kodi and diggz because my playback wouldnt work. I really didnt need to as the issue was I needed to renew my debrid. The issue is now that when I reinstall I get stopped by multiple inputsteam packages missing before I even install my skin. I did some digging and installed all the packages manually, and it does work but there is a huge flaw now, the playback lags to the point were its completely unwatchable ONLY if I dont have the xenon ui pulled over the screen. As soon as I push escape and pull up the overlay all issues are gone until I close it. I tried the flatpak as well but after installing a build through the wizard flatpak kodi crashes on launch and I don't get anywhere at all. I've deleted all kodi data from both installs and reinstalled numerous times but keep getting stuck in the same issue no matter how hard I try.

Are you using linux?
Which distro?

I suggest Flatpak, update it too with:
flatpak update tv.kodi.Kodi

Yes, I use arch linux. Not sure what changed because I recall both pacman and flatpak sources working in the past

I did do a full reinstall by removing the package and re-installing with flatpak. I feel like I definitely tried an update at some point but cant remember for sure, ill try again for lack of better options.

Just tried the update and nothing was changed by the update and the crash at launch persist

Arch here as well.

To delete data folder in Flatpak delete this:
~/.var/app/tv.kodi.Kodi/data

To delete data folder in system Kodi delete this:
~/.kodi

The latest 21.2 Kodi introduced a glitch where you have to try opening it multiple times until it sticks.

You were right about the flatpak I had to open it over 3 times but eventually it stuck I was able to get the install working
