I really miss YouTube working in Kodi. I have followed cg0's instructions and I can get key but I can't make it work in Kodi. Tried several times to the point of giving up. Sure do miss when it worked.

I have it working on latest Youtube beta.

I have it working on latest Youtube beta.

I have no doubt I'm missing something or not following close enough. It's frustrating cause I can usually figure it out. Not this time.

The pics show as far as I can get I don't know how to get API Id or API Secret.

Its not gonna work unless you enter all the info. If you just use it for trailers, then no need for any of this, but if you actually want to brwse Youtube, then you need to follow these instructions..

Well after a long time I managed to get Client ID and Client secret. I was excited.....but after entering in YouTube beta in kodi, it still wont work. I've triple checked key entry and I don't see any mistakes but i get the popup invalid key. don't understand.

I dont either, I wouldnt waste my time on Youtube in Kodi. Why would you? The only thing I could care about is for trailers, and that doesnt need a key.

So do I, and I pay for premium, but Youtube is already on every device as an app already, with a better interface so whats the point really?
