Diggz Team

Something very weird just happened when I want to open KODI/Diggz 4K, it opened I was tooling around, and then all of a sudden the KODI window started fritzing out, blanking, then a menu bar I had never seen before appeared saying that some of my KODI settings had been lost, and asking if I wanted to "fix" KODI. That's a first.

So I hit fix, nothing happened, couldn't get to the Xenon power button, closed, killed the process in Windows task manager, reopened, and it popped up with a box asking me to choose which version of Diggz I wanted to choose. There were only 3 options, not the list I'm used to seeing, with Debrid Only and/or 4K nowhere to be found. Has something happened of is it just me?

*Update - Still don't know what happened, but it seems the "Diggz Xenon 4K - Debrid Only" flavor simply shorted, and ate itself, for some reason, no way to get it back or working again, except to go to Chef Wizard and reinstall, which I have, needing to set up accounts again (did the account manager change between versions?).

So, might just have been a me (windows) problem, but wanted to give an update in case anyone else runs into diggz throwing up the "fix" message. Will update if it happens again.

I've had that message before on older versions but not recently. Using 1.4 currently but on an Onn Pro not Windows.

Account Manager was/is no longer supported but it looks like it is now in the "Testing" phase in the Debrid/Trakt section. I guess they are trying to bring it back either with the original developer or someone else.

Diggz Xenon 4K -Debrid Only Version 1.5 just got pushed out in the last couple hourse. If I were to take a guess, this was the reason my v 1.4 sketched out yesterday, some dependency or addon was changed for the new version, got pushed out, and toasted my installation.

Updating to 1.5 nuked my build. Nothing works after updating. On my second kodi box I skipped the update and it still works. For now I would stay away from 1.5

Yeah, same thing happened to me. I waited until kodi.tv status page reported everything up, installed 1.5 and not many add ons installed. Not even the Chef wizard. So, I can't roll it back using 1.4 backup, so my only option is to remove kodi, and install everything all over, but going to wait awhile before I try again, so, I'll just either use another android box or my fire stick with 1.4 on it.

So, I can't roll it back using 1.4 backup, so my only option is to remove kodi, and install everything all over, but going to wait awhile before I try again, so, I'll just either use another android box or my fire stick with 1.4 on it.

I beleive if you reinstall the Chef Repo and when it asks you to install a build Say "no" and you should then be able to go to the wizard and restore your saved 1.4 build. Make sure the permissions are allowed to go to the saved file.

I'm cant test right now but I think in theory this should work.

Tested and yes it will work that way.

As long as you backed up your build to external storeage you can restore it even after you delete/install kodi and reinstall the wizard.

Got my 1.4 back. I am just a little gun shy about trying to upgrade to 1.5 again, so, I think I will have a couple drinks first.

Kodi repo is back up, so you wont have the same issue anymore.
