4k video

I'm having issues with playing 4k videos on my Lenovo yoga c940 laptop which has a 4k k oled display and dolby atmos. I'm using Xenon plus 2.1 and the video is choppy I can't even watch it and I cant even barely get out of the video once I start it. I do 4k on my nvidia shield with the same kodi build so I don't get it. The laptop does 4k on Youtube no issues.
