Can you take a look at this log and let me know why kodi keeps crashing no matter the addon. TV shows or movies tend to studder and then crash. I've rebooted the router several times. Same thing happens with both of my Samsung TVs. All have the same versions of build and media player.

Your log isn't complete, kodi.tv usually cuts down big logs.

@The Chef Might see something I don't, in the existing errors I don't see something causing a crash, even kodinerds repo usage from nexus error should not cause a crash.
Possibly in the end of the log -which we can't see, there is the error that causes it.

Only thing I see right before the crash is:
"2024-03-16 17:15:30.200 T:17521 error <general>: Control 9 in window 10146 has been asked to focus, but it can't"

Usually means a skin issue when trying to go back from a window. Might want to ask the skin dev about the error.

I'm trying to upload the file using ufile.io (accessing thru Amazon Silk Internet) but can't open Total Commander in the app to get the file.

To upload via ufile.io or any similar site, you just need a working browser, and type the link.

Would the same apply if doing this on a firestick?

I ended up doing a fresh start including upgrading to Omega. Installed MEC v5.4 and have not had any issues so far.

Logical, the Omega repo MEC is made on full blown Kodi Omega since the start, you should expect this to happen if tried to install on a lower version Kodi.
