Can't install a build to Kodi 21

`I can't install a build in to Kodi 21,
I went through the topics here; nothing works for me.
I used Kodi for 15 years, quite easy to handle, no problems with updates or install.
I tried https://diggz1.me/diggzrepo
and

every time I got a pop up with: Couldn't retrieve directory information.
would be nice somebody could give me a hand,
