Speed Up Content Loading Screen

Hi, I was wondering on how I can get the Content Loading to load content faster. On my Fire TV Cube, on Fenflix build, is there any addons that I can disable if I am only using the build for TV Series and Movies?

Well, it obviously depends on your device, and as is FenFlix only has 4 widgets, so it already loads fast for me. Maybe if you have PVR installed that may slow things down on some devices, but addons dont really slow things down, its mostly widgets that slow things down. But if 4 widgets are too much for your device, maybe you have a really old Fire TV? I dunno..

I have a new fire TV cube. Yours loads pretty fast. I think you are right. It might be the PVR. When I go into add-on's there are a bunch of add-on's that are installed that I didn't think I needed.

Also I might add, it only takes about 90 seconds to load and it's only when you first start it.

You showing all addons, some are repos, dependencies, etc. Some you need, some you dont. Deleting addons is not gonna speed up the skin. If you want delete addons, go to my addons and choose an addon category like video addons/music addons, but like I said, its not gonna make much difference. Delete whatever you want, if you screw something up youll have to reinstall.

Yep I know how to delete, and reinstall if need be. I just was seeing if that will help. Thank you for clarifying. I deleted some unnecessary addons and repos. As you see though, my content loading takes longer than yours or maybe it's because you switched from a a different skin and it loaded faster for you? If I switch from a skin it will load fast because I am already in it. That's the only time it takes a bit slow to load is on start up.I was thinking about cached files but I removed all cached files I could find.

So again, this is only on start up.

My system is also slow and I use Nvidia Shield. If anyone out there knows how to speed the build loading up, please pass along the info.

This essentially was the question I was going to ask, It takes a while to load the content above , and its not really due to PVR as that does its thing fairly quickly for me. The tv and movies don't really show up for a while sometimes and things are slow on start up, saying that once I have been in for a while watching stuff etc it runs very smooth and fast on all aspects, I'm on a very powerful brand new Strong TV box , so yea if there is anything we can do to speed up the whole build on start up that would be great, I was running the same build on a very cheap fire stick and it was 10 x slower than on this box so definitely understand it can be hardware but yea its a complex build so if there is any updates or tweaks to improve start up performance or loading content quicker that would be appreciated. I find going into movie portal helps speed up trakt to display content somehow , nothing showing i go into move portal and back out and everything is there !
