Fix For PVR TV Guide Updated 2/15/25

I second this it keeps showing every single channel as unknown so you have no idea what's on or what's next or anytbing really. Is there a fix ?

The fix is in the video above , if it is for the guide then yes it will fix the guide but still having issues with most of the HBO channels not loading among others, but seems intermittent as sometimes they work and some times they dont. Not sure if its this fix to blame for that but the fix has definitely sorted out the Live feed for the TV guide no questions !

The big problem right now is IPTV client not playing channels after this guide fix , it has now stopped a lot of the main channels working, whether this is due to blocking or something I don't know but they were all playing mostly before this guide fix, now the guide is working well but the channels dont play. Thanks.

If there is any kind of clearing or resetting I can do to make the channels all play again please advise but I have not changed a thing after I ran the quick fix and re ran the EPG merging and guide setup. The channel play back has deteriorated since doing this in a big way. Thanks Chef , I appreciate any help you have. Dave

every single channel on simple iptv client is failed to playback kodi error, all the guides are there though but no channels playing. Oh well try to fix one thing and another breaks.

So its obvious now why none of the channels are not working the Main source of the live tv channels were from Daddy live and the link is gone nothing found at that address and its showing as Red inside the client settings ! Let me know if you have any other solid IPTV solution for this build , otherwise I will just use another app in android TV box rather than inside Kodi. Thanks

Url is red inside IPTV merge presume this is why, the guide and channels are both showing up fine inside IPTV client so bit confusing but when you visit the URL it says page missing

The Guide EPG seems to work really well chef, and the channels all work solid very well with JP free live tv Addon, so is there a way to use the playlist from JP Live tv in simple client / IPTV merge and then keep the Guide which you fixed the other day ? As a replacement to DaddyLive etc. Let me know if you have a solution. Thanks

I cant seem to find JTV addon anywhere inside addons in settings, I tried to find it to look for its playlist file, Anyways any advice or help let me know chef , Thanks

Wel, the daddylive channels seem to be working fine in the guide when I try it, and the JTV channels are also in the guide already, you just need to change the channel group in the left menu. Any group that doesnt say Daddylive is the Jtv channels, you can change the group by opening TV Channels and then pressing Left, like this..

For some reason none of the channels were loading for me but miraculously they have started working again tonight. So i deleted the daddy live playlist from IPTV merge as the link doesn't have a file anymore its a dead link https://bit.ly/ddy-m3u3 This and the other Moj playlist were the two links inside playlists in iptv merg settings, but when i say none of the channels were working I mean none. I looked at setting for iptv client and the playlists location isnt a URL its a local path to a local file, so perhaps the server was down. HBO zone still doesn't play on iptv simple client but it does on JTV , so yes intermittent problems. If you could explain where the DADDY live play list is actually getting channels from when this link in the settings is dead that might be helpful for me to understand for future reference.
