Problem playing MP4 movies

Hello everyone.
I have a problem and I hope it can be solved. I have an Nvidia Shield Pro receiver with Kodi v21.3 Omega installed, along with Diggz AIO Debrid and Diggz Xenon 2. I'm using the Read Light add-on and my internet speed is 1Gb. However, I'm facing a problem: when playing MP4 movies, they don't play smoothly and they chop up, while playing MKV movies has no problem.

What version of Kodi? Omega 21 or Piers 22? Official Kodi or a fork? When you say receiver, do you mean its actually running the video through a receiver? Are you using an external hard drive or usb storage on the Shield? Did you mess with any Kodi settings? Must be something your doing differently as Kodi plays mp4 files fine.

I am using Kodi v21.3 (Omega), the original version downloaded from the official website.

When you say receiver, do you mean it's actually running the video through a receiver?
I am using an Nvidia Shield Pro TV box and playing the movie through the Read Light add-on. I notice constant buffering in the MP4 files during streaming.

Are you using an external hard drive or USB storage on the Shield?
Yes, and the problem disappears when I download the movie to the hard drive after playing it.

Did you mess with any Kodi settings?
No.

It must be something you are doing differently,
I didn't do anything except play the movie.
